The PTA brings students, staff and families together through fun community-building events, student enrichment programs, teacher & staff support, and school advocacy.

WHAT WE DO

  • ENRICH: Cultural and arts assemblies, before and after school clubs, and special in-school programs
  • CONNECT: Back to School Picnic, Kindergarten Parent Social, International Fair, Movie Night, Drama Club, Spring Auction, Fun Run, and Mayfair Carnival
  • SUPPORT: Classroom/school/outdoor grounds needs, teacher/staff grants & appreciation, student scholarships, and advocacy

HOW TO CONNECT

SIGN UP FOR MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT (MTK): When you create an MTK account on this site you can opt in to PTA emails, read the weekly PTA Wednesday newsletter, buy event items, or make donations.

BECOME A PTA MEMBER: Becoming a member is the ONLY way to access the opt-in directory. Memberships and donations fund programs, events, school grants and staff support. Every family is welcome—whether you volunteer once, lead an event, or simply attend one. If you or your family is experiencing financial hardship but would like to become a PTA member, please contact BES school counselor, Jenny Fleming at Jennifer_L_Fleming@mcpsmd.org

JOIN THE PTA and access our NEW membership tiers and merch HERE.

HOW WE COMMUNICATE

1. Principal Serino’s Sunday message covers school and MCPS news with PTA updates tacked on at the end.

2. The PTA weekly newsletter (NOW sent Tuesday mornings) keeps you up to date on PTA programs and events.
