ENRICH: Cultural and arts assemblies, before and after school clubs, and special in-school programs

CONNECT: Back to School Picnic, Kindergarten Parent Social, International Fair, Movie Night, Drama Club, Spring Auction, Fun Run, and Mayfair Carnival 

SUPPORT: Classroom/school/outdoor grounds needs, teacher/staff grants & appreciation, student scholarships, and advocacy

STAY CONNECTED

1. JOIN MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT (MTK): When you create an MTK account (this site) you can opt in to PTA emails, read the weekly PTA Wednesday newsletter, buy event items, or make donations. 

2. PURCHASE A PTA MEMBERSHIP: COMING SOON! Becoming a member is the ONLY way to access the opt-in directory. Memberships and donations fund programs, events, school grants and staff support. Every family is welcome—whether you volunteer once, lead an event or simply attend. If you or your family is experiencing financial hardship but would like to become a PTA member, please contact BES school counselor, Jenny Fleming at Jennifer_L_Fleming@mcpsmd.org. 

Communications Cadence:

1. Principal Serino’s Sunday message covers school and MCPS news with PTA updates tacked on at the end.

2. The PTA weekly newsletter (NOW sent Tuesday mornings) keeps you up to date on PTA programs and events.
